Black Swan Theory–teaser

So today, Shadow and Act released the teaser for Black Swan Theory, which I frantically finished cutting last night.  Between the S & A blog itself, facebook, twitter and my personal blog–i have a feeling the viral teaser (which is hosted on vimeo, of course) is going to get a lot of mileage in the next few days.

It’s amazing how quickly one can turnover his/her work to the general public simply using the internet as a formidable marketing tool. So far, I’m really happy about the responses I’ve been getting.  Fortunately I didn’t use the best of what Black Swan Theory has to offer so once the short is cut (I’m thinking it’s going to be around no more than 12 mins) the audience will still be in store for a few surprises.

$$$ is running low so I’m on the hunt for motion/text designer/animator who can create something in the same vein as: Sean Starkweather.

I still have a long way to go in Post so I’ll try to keep you guys updated.  I must say that the 5D post process is a lot simpler than I anticipated.  once you change the codec of the clips from H.264 to AppleProRes 422 (HQ) Final Cut Pro is good to go!

I’m debating whether or not to create a Facebook page specifically for BST: probably not.

So, without further ado, here’s the teaser for BST.  I vacillated between a few songs (namely Flying Lotus’ “Camel”) but ended up going with Spoek Mathambo’s “War on Words”–

In this awesome scheme of things you actually receive a B- for effort and hard work. Where exactly you misplaced me personally ended up being on your specifics. You know, they say, details make or break the argument.. And that couldn’t be more correct in this article. Having said that, let me reveal to you what exactly did deliver the results. The authoring is pretty convincing and that is possibly why I am taking an effort in order to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, while I can certainly notice the jumps in reason you make, I am not really confident of exactly how you seem to connect the details that make the final result. For the moment I will, no doubt subscribe to your issue however trust in the future you connect your dots much better.
